Some expansion features include:
- a 2 million gallon ground storage tank;
- two bulk storage tanks;
- a filter building and gallery;
- a sludge dewatering building; and
- a maintenance building.
The West Water Treatment Plant is one of two the city owns and operates. The Downtown Plant has a capacity of 10 million gallons per day.
