HOUSTON – The 713,000-sf United States Postal Service (USPS) Processing and Distribution Center, located 4600 Aldine Bender Rd., will undergo a renovation and an expansion of 319,000 sf. The cost of construction is estimated to be $42 million.

The renovation and expansion will consist of remodeling and adding office spaces, workroom floors, dock areas, a business mail entry area, site development and parking areas.

The expansion to the existing building will add load bearing site-cast tilt-up concrete exterior wall panels. The Korte Company has been selected by the U.S. Postal Service to design-build the center.
