DALLAS - The 16-story, 454,000-sf KPMG Plaza office project in the Arts District is now under construction. The developer, Hall Financial, will build the project between Ross Ave. and Flora St., across from the Meyerson Symphony Center.

Construction costs are estimated at $65 million, with a completion of June 2015, according to state filings. Accounting firm KPMG will occupy 150,000 sf in the building. Other tenants include UMB Bank with 6,000 sf,  Jackson Walker LLP with 104,000 sf, and a Stephan Pyles restaurant.

The office building is the first phase of a project that includes a larger residential building. The five-acre project, dubbed Hall Arts, will also house Hall Financial's corporate headquartersin 2015. The company's corporate headquarters is currently at Hall Office Park in Frisco.
