Fobare starts Richardson’s first spec building in a decade

RICHARDSON – Dallas-based Fobare Commercial has kicked off Richardson’s first speculative office building in more than a decade. The 153,000-sf building at 1225 Alma Rd. has been dubbed Collins Center, and is being shopped around to potential tenants.

The building has eight parking spaces per 1,000 sf, which is a rarity in office real estate, and makes it an ideal location for a call center or other office user with a need for a high parking ratio.

Fobare razed an existing building to place the new project near the DART Arapaho station. Collins Center is slated for completion in January 2014.
