LUXX luxury aimed at UTSA students

SAN ANTONIO – Student housing and luxury usually don’t go hand in hand. But at a North Side apartment complex under construction, the $33 million LUXX, that’s the focus.

The 694 beds in the community will be spread out over 220 units. Floor plans will range from 592 sf for a one-bedroom, one-bathroom unit to 1,694 sf for a four-bedroom, four-and-a-half bathroom residence.

The community is located at UTSA Blvd. and UTEX Blvd., less than a quarter of a mile from the University of Texas at San Antonio.

LUXX will feature amenities including a pool spanning almost 3,000 sf and easy access to the Leon Creek Greenway.

LUXX is slated to enter the market next summer. Leasing, however, will begin in early October 2013. NRP Group is the developer.
