More choices for students near UTSA: Babcock @ 1604

SAN ANTONIO – Construction is underway on a new student-housing community currently called Babcock @ 1604. The 198-unit, 590-bed project began its $22 million construction last month on 16 acres at the Babcock/1604 intersection.

The community will feature 121 flats and 77 townhomes. Potential residents will have their choice of a two-, three- or four-bedroom units. The townhomes will have two-car garages.

The student-housing community is slated to be completed in July 2014. Atlanta-based firm Carter is the developer.
