Denison Hilton and Conference Center moving forward

DENISON – The Hilton Garden Inn and Conference Center has broken ground in south Denison at the intersection of SH 691 and US 75. The five-story hotel will have more than 130 rooms, while the 23,000-sf conference center will provide Denison with a meeting facility the town has lacked.

Project construction cost is estimated at $12.5 million. Once completed, the site will have several “pads” which could be occupied by restaurants or retail.

Key Construction is targeting a total build time of about a year, with a projected opening date in late 2014.
