KC company leases 115,599 SF in Houston

HOUSTON – Burns & McDonnell has signed a lease for 115,599 sf at 1700 West Loop South in the Galleria/Uptown submarket. The company will occupy six of the 15 floors at the Class A, 272,941-sf office complex, which will be renamed the Burns & McDonnell Plaza.

Employees with the firm will be stationed in the top floors, with room for expansion if necessary.

Ownership is planning to invest more than $2 million in capital improvements, including an upgraded lobby.

Kansas City-based Burns & McDonnell is a 100 percent employee-owned, full-service engineering, architecture, construction, environmental and consulting services firm.
