LUBBOCK - High Point Village has broken ground on Phase I of a 21,947-sf enrichment center at the corner of Milwaukee Ave. and Kent St. Phase II will include residential living cottages.

During the past year, High Point Village has served 200 individuals with developmental disabilities including Down Syndrome, Autism and Cerebral Palsy through 'Reach High' classes and the 'Can Do' conference.

There are an estimated 250,000 functionally disabled individuals ages fromĀ five to 64 living in or within 175 miles of the Lubbock metropolitan area.
