Houston: Statoil doubles footprint with 581,000 sf

HOUSTON – Statoil Gulf Services LLC is more than doubling its North American headquarters at CityWestPlace in Houston’s Westchase District for a long-term lease for 581,000 sf.

Statoil currently occupies 225,000 sf in the complex. Eventually, Statoil will occupy all of the 431,000-sf CityWestPlace Building 2. The company also extended its existing lease for 150,000 sf in CityWestPlace Building 4.

Other tenants of the 30-acre, 1.46 million-sf campus include BMC Software Inc. — which leases 550,000 sf — Ion Geophysical, Bristow Group and Spark Energy.
