SAN ANTONIO - Returning to pre-recession levels, the local housing inventory hit a six-year low last month as home prices and sales also grew. In September, the Alamo City had 4.6 months of inventory.
During the month, there were 2,031 home sales, a 20 percent jump compared to the previous year. Housing prices also rose 6.5 percent to $168,700.
For the year, the median price for a home is $169,900, a 6 percent increase compared to the same period last year.
