Wichita Falls existing home sales outpacing 2012

WICHITA FALLS – A total of 128 existing homes were sold in September, compared to 95 during the same period last year. Existing home sales for the year stands at 1,155, an increase of 137 during the same period last year which stood at 1,018.

Existing home sales in September were down from August numbers. September’s sales volume was $16.1 million, a drop of $2.58 million from $18.69 million in August. The average sales price in September was $125,808, compared with $125,409 in August.

The September total last year was $11.79 million. For the year the total is $139.79 million, a jump of $19.64 million from $120.16 million in 2012.

The report showed that the average number of days on the market was 83 in September. There were 202 new listings and 146 pending sales. The total active residential listings stood at 812.
