GALVESTON - A life at sea is becoming even more appealing for students at Texas A&M University at Galveston with a new record enrollment of 2,177. This is 162 more students than last year with a record 517 cadets.

For those who are entering the job market, Texas opportunities are offering some big salaries. More and more people are becoming Sea Aggies than ever before.

Not only is success high in the Corps of Cadets but also in the student body as 90 percent of the graduates have jobs within 60 days, according to the President of Texas A&M University at Galveston, Rear Admiral Robert Smith III, U.S. Navy.

With hopes to continue to increase enrollment in future years, the campus is sharing a passion for the waters one student at a time.
