HOUSTON – The Houston Airport System (HAS) handled 50.44 million passengers in the 12 months ending September 2013, slipping 0.1 percent from the 50.49 million handled during the same period 2012.

International passenger volume totaled 8.86 million, up 1.3 percent from 8.74 million, and domestic volume totaled 41.58 million down from 41.74 million of 2012.

During the 12 months ending September 2013, HAS handled 413,385 metric tons of air cargo, down 2.3 percent from 423,240 metric tons for the same period September 2012.
