Vantage-at-Harlingen underway with 288 units

HARLINGEN – Construction is underway on a $17.6 million, 288-unit apartment complex at the intersection of Lincoln Ave. and Palm Court Dr. Developers refer to the complex intended for low- and moderate-income residents as Vantage-at-Harlingen.

The development will be situated on 15.5 acres and has an approximate completion date of October 2014, according to the city building office.

Construction is being financed through $25,975,000 in tax-exempt and taxable bonds approved by the Harlingen-San Benito Housing Finance Corporation.
