RICHARDSON - KDC has unveiled plans for its initial phase of the State Farm-anchored, 186-acre transit-oriented development in Richardson.

The $600 million, 2.3 million-sf initial phase of the project, newly named CityLine, includes plans for a 150-room select service hotel, 520 apartments, an 18,000-sf wellness and fitness facility, a 41,000-sf medical office building, and urban restaurant, retail and entertainment space.

The focal point of CityLine — CityLine Plaza — will sit in the center of the project on Plano Rd., and will include more than 92,000 sf of retail, restaurant and entertainment space.

Plans also include a 3.5-acre park with trails woven throughout the CityLine project, which includes 1.5 million-sf of space in three office towers leased to State Farm Insurance Co. for its regional hub.

The project will have 7,700 parking spaces within CityLine's garages. At build-out, the CityLine project will include 6 million sf of office space, two hotels, 3,925 apartments, 300,000 sf of grocery, restaurant, entertainment and retail space and three parks.
