Majestic 1M-SF warehouse for DFW Airport

LEWISVILLE – Majestic Realty Co. has broken ground for a 1.02 million-sf speculative warehouse and distribution building in its Majestic Airport Center DFW business park. The industrial development on SH 121 at Valley Pkwy. will be complete by May 2014.

Majestic is building the big industrial project in partnership with Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance. Construction costs are estimated at $25 million, according to state filings.

“We have great confidence in the DFW and Texas economies,” said Al Sorrels, Majestic Realty director of development. “We have had great success with the previous 1.34 million sf in the park with Kellogg’s taking our previous 1,020,000-sf building.

Located five minutes from DFW International Airport, the Majestic Airport Center is a premier, 160-acre, master-planned business park that, upon completion, will total more than 3 million sf of Class A warehouse and distribution facilities in seven buildings.
