LONGVIEW - Houston-based Baker Katz will spend $2 million to buy the former Holiday Inn property at Estes Pkwy. and I-20.
The Longview Economic Development Corp. board unanimously approved the sale of the 6.623 acres.
The Longview Planning and Zoning Commission placed aesthetic restrictions on the property earlier this year including no metal facades and no outdoor storage or display, in addition to a 10-foot landscaping strip maintained along Estes Pkwy., with at least four canopy trees and four ornamental trees.
