Multifamily madness: 1,222 units move in Houston, Conroe

HOUSTON, CONROE – Abbey Residential has acquired 1,222 units across five multifamily properties in Houston and Conroe.

The portfolio, with the new property names listed first, consists of:

• The Abbey at Champions (formerly Aston Brook) with 152 units located at 14101 Walters Rd. in Houston;
• The Abbey at Montgomery Park (formerly Cimarron Park) with 162 units located at 2201 Montgomery Park Blvd. in Conroe;
• The Abbey at Willowbrook (formerly Ridge at Willowbrook) with 314 units located at 8330 Willow Place Dr. S. in Houston;
• The Abbey at Conroe (formerly Stone Ridge) with 468 units located at 231 I-45 N. in Conroe; and
• The Abbey at Jones Road, formerly Woodedge, with 126 units located at 10802 Green Creek Dr. in Houston

Alabama-based Abbey Residential purchased the portfolio from Irving-based MLQ BK REO LLC.
