Oracle to add 200 jobs in Austin

AUSTIN – Oracle Corp. plans to create 200 jobs and invest $5.4 million in the expansion project, which would be located at 7700 W. Parmer Ln. Executives at the California-based company said the jobs will be in sales and marketing.

“We are expanding our presence in Texas because we’ve been impressed with the quality workforce and growth opportunities here,” said Randy Smith, Oracle’s vice president of real estate and facilities.

Oracle develops hardware and software designed to work together for business needs.
