AUSTIN – Passenger traffic at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport jumped 9.6 percent in September 2013 compared to the same month last year, according to the airport’s data.
The month — which is usually slow for the airport — was a marked increase over both 2012 and 2011 with 785,983 passengers passing through.
The airport has seen traffic increases in 44 out of the last 45 months. The current record for passengers is 922,615, set in July 2013.
