Westin Dallas Downtown in 1M-SF hotel for Christmas

DALLAS – Construction on a Westin hotel in downtown Dallas is on track, with the facility scheduled to open in December 2015.

The Westin Dallas Downtown is located at One Main Place — a 1 million-sf historic building at 1201 Main St. that will include office and retail space.

When completed the Westin will contain 326 guest rooms, including a 3,000-sf penthouse.

Amenities planned for the hotel include an indoor pool on its 32nd floor, a 1,700-sf fitness center, more than 31,000 sf of meeting space and a glass-enclosed pavilion on the building’s ground floor.

Development of the rest of the building and surrounding plaza includes plans for a sundries store, dry cleaners and other retailers that might be utilized by travelers.
