Fiesta Mart opens doors in Conroe

CONROE – Fiesta Mart has opened its new $3 million, 22,000-sf store at 210 E. Davis St. The site had been home to Smith Tire Shop for more than 45 years.

The Houston-based grocery chain acquired more than 100,000 sf of property in September 2012 to construct one of the first commercial developments on Conroe’s east side in some time, according to Nancy Mikeska, assistant director of community development for the city.

Fiesta Mart has 61 stores in the Austin, Dallas-Fort Worth and Houston areas.
