Teleperformance speed dials Edinburg with 400 new jobs
EDINBURG – Teleperformance will add 400 new positions to its 28,000-sf location at 1701 S. Closner Blvd. The company signed a ten-year lease at the facility, which currently has more than 700 employees.
Plans call for a 24,000-sf expansion to add another 350 work stations, for a total of 800.
Renovations are already underway and the company is ready to add to their workforce before the end of 2013, according to Miranda Collard, USA President of Operational Delivery. The new positions will focus on customer service, billing and product support for a large consumer products company.
Edinburg holds one of the lowest unemployment rates in Hidalgo County and the state at 7.3 percent, and a workforce of over 34,000.
Teleperformance is a global customer service, technical support, call center, debt collector and social media.
