Canada fulfilled with 1.1M-SF Amazon center in Haslet

HASLET – The 1.1 million-sf Amazon.com fulfillment center at Alliance has been purchased by Bentall Kennedy, a Canadian-based REIT. The facility sits on 68 acres near Alliance Airport in the 700 block of Westport Pkwy. 

Located in the Haslet section of the sprawling development in far north Fort Worth, the center is expected to create 1,000 jobs.

Amazon signed a 15-year lease with Hillwood in January, at which point the building was still under construction. The online behemoth is now using the site as a regional fulfillment center for items such as books and games.

The seller was Hillwood Development Company.
