AUSTIN – A 115-acre development site has been purchased by American Housing Ventures in far South Austin where it plans to build 287 single-family homes. The company is calling the development Legends at Onion Creek.

Houses will range from 1,930 sf to 3,100 sf and be priced for new homebuyers or first-time move-up buyers. The site is located northeast of the intersection of SH 45 and I-35 adjacent to the Onion Creek Golf Club.

The company plans to begin Phase 1 in second quarter 2014, according to Mark Wolf, CEO of American Housing Ventures. Wolf is partnering with Spencer Rinker, also of Southern California, on the project. The duo closed on the property in May.
