Metroplex part of 2,800 self-storage sale

DFW AREA. MIDLAND - Strategic Storage Trust Inc. (SSTI) has acquired five self-storage properties in the DFW Metroplex and Midland for a total of approximately $27 million. The properties totaled about 390,000 sf in 2,800 units.

The five-property acquisition includes:
•  1712 W. Randol Mill Rd. in Arlington (445 units, 59,495 sf)
•  810 S. Denton Tap Rd. in Coppell (740 units, 101,735 sf)
•  1925 S. Bowie Dr. in Weatherford (470 units, 61,995 sf)
•  5005 Andrews Hwy. in Midland (615 units, 92,820 sf)
•  1904 W. Loop 250 N. in Midland (535 units, 75,800 sf)

These, along with four additional properties acquired by SSTI in Alabama and Tennessee, will be rebranded under the SmartStop Self Storage name.
