ROUND ROCK – The City of Round Rock has inked two incentives deals that are expected to help secure 75 new jobs and $14 million in investment from two companies.

Insys Therapeutics — a commercial-grade pharmaceutical manufacturer — is planning to expand its current operations. In addition to its 11 present employees, Insys plans to add 30 new full-time employees during the next four years, as well as relocate to an unoccupied 52,845-sf office/manufacturing facility at 2700 Oakmont Dr.

The company has also promised to invest at least $10.5 million in equipment and facility improvements. Insys is expected to begin transferring its equipment to its new facility in December, with the move likely to be completed by August 2014.

DMA Enterprises Inc, producer of the ThermaSol product line of steam shower systems, closed on 27 acres in Round Rock earlier this month where it will put its new headquarters and manufacturing facility. The company is planning a relocation of its headquarters from California to Round Rock.

The company expects to invest at least $3.5 million and open its headquarters and a 37,000-sf manufacturing facility in fourth quarter 2014. DMA will hire 45 full-time employees over the next six years, with the potential to create as many as 60 jobs.
