SAN ANTONIO - Bexar County foreclosure postings fell in December to the second-lowest level in 2013, closing out a year in which the number of foreclosures dropped by more than one-third.
Next month, 621 properties are scheduled to hit the auction block at the Bexar County Courthouse, according to data from RexReport.com. The December figure represents a 28 percent drop compared with a year ago.
Overall, foreclosure postings have declined for 13 consecutive months. This year, there were a total of 8,824 postings, a nearly 36 percent slide compared with 2012 when there were 13,755.
