HOUSTON – The 497,000-sf Noble Energy Center One has been purchased by Cole Corporate Income Trust Inc.

Trammell Crow Co. and Principal Real Estate Investors disposed of the building only months after breaking ground on the 450,000-sf Noble Energy Center Two.

Noble Energy Center One is at 1001 Noble Energy Way, at SH 249 and Louetta Rd. in the northwest submarket. Once part of the massive Compaq/Hewlett-Packard complex, the building has undergone a significant capital renovation. The project also obtained LEED Gold certification.

In January 2012, Noble Energy Inc. signed a long-term lease to establish its global corporate headquarters in the building. The company’s new campus is anticipated to employ more than 1,600 individuals by 2015.

The Noble Energy Center campus is adjacent to The Vintage, a master-planned mixed-use project with 537,000 sf of retail/office space, more than 1,600 residences, two apartment complexes, a 123-room hotel, Kelsey-Seybold Clinic and a St. Luke’s regional hospital.
