Graham Central Station grounds for Residence Inn
SAN ANGELO – The San Angelo Chamber of Commerce held a groundbreaking for the new Residence Inn. The extended stay hotel is located on 2545 Southwest Blvd. on the grounds of the old Graham Central Station. The building permit for construction value was $5.5 million.
The all-suites hotel will have 92 rooms for anyone wanting an overnight stay or a temporary home.
“The rooms are laid out good for families,” explained Beth Link, TMI Hospitality Director. “It’s great for families, business travelers, or just someone who wants a little more room overnight.”
The Residence Inn is an extended stay hotel equipped with full-sized refrigerator and kitchen and made to feel like home for those needing lodging for longer terms.
Link thinks San Angelo is the perfect place to add a Residence Inn, citing the friendly nature of the city: “The culture we have at Residence Inn is unusual from other hotels,” she said, “warm hospitality is what we’re about.”
The Residence Inn is expected to be completed by September 2014.
