LUBBOCK – Lubbock Christian University will begin construction in December 2013 on a 57,000-sf building to house the partnered LCU School of Nursing and Covenant School of Nursing.

The building is designed specifically for nursing education and will include classrooms, computer labs faculty offices, a common area and a 500-seat auditorium.

A $10 million gift from the J.T. and Margaret Talkington Charitable Foundation to the LCU Foundation made the building possible. The donation represents the largest gift the LCU Foundation has received to date.
