SAN ANTONIO – The Alamo City remains a hot spot for residential investors, according to a recent report by RealtyTrac. Institutional investors accounted for 11.7 percent of all residential sales in October.

This number is down slightly from September, when investors accounted for 15 percent of all residential sales in San Antonio. Institutional investors are those buyers purchasing ten or more properties in the last 12 months.

Over the 12 months ended October 31, a total of 5.7 million homes were sold throughout the U.S. Institutional investors accounted for 6.8 percent of those sales.
