Lubbock: Rawls rolls out $15M expansion

LUBBOCK – The Texas Tech Rawls College of Business is scheduled to break ground July 1, 2015 on the construction of a $15 million expansion.

The 38,000-sf addition will contain four new classrooms, a testing center for student exams, a behavioral research lab and a multipurpose space.

New faculty and doctoral student offices, a new study abroad office, private study rooms for students, a conference room for student organizations, seminar rooms for doctoral students and an outdoor courtyard will also be part of the addition.

Rawls College of Business is located at 703 Flint Ave.

The expansion is expected to be completed by fall 2016.
