Construction starts on Park Village in Southlake

SOUTHLAKE – The 190,000-sf Park Village is now under construction as developer Woodmont Co. has broken ground on 22 acres at the southwest corner of Carroll Ave. and Southlake Blvd.

The retail center is already more than 50 percent leased and will open in fall 2014. Tenants in the center will include a specialty gourmet grocer and recreation goods retailer REI. The retail center has available space for users ranging from 800 to 12,000 sf.

Park Village will feature public art, lush landscaping and water features set within a dense streetscape environment.

The region maintains strong demographics with household incomes of Southlake residents averaging $210,264. Additionally, more than 56,000 vehicles per day traverse the intersection at Southlake Blvd. and Carroll Ave.
