Hutto YMCA gets physical, physical

HUTTO – The new Hutto Family YMCA building is approaching completion and slated to open January 2014. The 35,000-sf building is being constructed at US 79 and CR 165 for $5.5 million.

When finished, the facility will include children’s playscapes and gyms divided for use by age groups, recreation center for teens, lap pool, pool with a slide, aerobics room and a classroom for spinning workouts.

The facility will also include a large equipment room, full gym, locker room, theater room and an office for Seton Healthcare, which will operate a heated therapy pool on the premises.
