American Bureau of Shipping plans Energy Corridor office

HOUSTON – The American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) is opening a satellite office in the Energy Corridor. The company has leased about 28,700 sf of space at 15011 Katy Fwy.

The new office will be in Energy Crossing II, a 327,00-sf office building being developed by Lincoln Property Co. Construction is expected to be completed by first quarter 2014.

ABS will move about 90 employees of its engineering, project management, technology and business management divisions into the new space. In addition to office space, ABS will have educational space that area companies can use for training.
