DALLAS - The Crosstex Energy building, at 2501 Cedar Springs, has been purchased by Mexico-based Grupo Haddad.

The seven-story, 110,000-sf office building is located just blocks from the landmark Crescent complex and was recently remodeled.

Grupo Haddad acquired the 31-year-old property from Dallas investor Caddo Holdings, which bought the building in 2011. Since then, the building has been upgraded and is now fully leased.

In October the company acquired the two-building Plano Commons office buildings located near the Telecom Corridor. The 190,000-sf project is fully leased. The company also acquired a 470,000-sf industrial building at 2625 Belt Line Rd. in Carrollton.

Also in October, the six-story, 251,000-sf Two MacArthur Ridge office building near SH 114 in Las Colinas was sold to Gruppo. A Connecticut investor sold the 14-year-old office complex.

Grupo Haddad this summer bought the five-story 750 Canyon Dr. office building in Coppell, which has 240,000 sf. And the investor also recently bought a two-building industrial complex on John Connally Dr. in Carrollton.
