MIDLOTHIAN - Buckley Oil Company has announced plans to relocate its company headquarters from Dallas to Midlothian. After considering several North Texas sites, the company selected 12 acres in Midlothian’s RailPort Business Park.
The 92-year-old family-owned solvent distributor plans to construct a 17,000-sf warehouse, 3,000 sf of packaging space and a 5,000-sf headquarters office building.
Buckley Oil will bring 25 to 28 existing employees to Midlothian and anticipates adding positions in the future to accommodate business growth.
A groundbreaking is scheduled for December 18, and construction is slated for completion in late 2014.
