El Paso Sprouts store on the West Side

EL PASO – Sprouts is set to move its 17,000-sf store, now located at 6100 N. Mesa, to a 31,541-sf building in the Sunland Towne Centre at 655 Sunland Park on January 15, 2014.

The building, located across the street from Sunland Park Mall, was previously occupied by RoomStore.

Sprouts’ officials decided to make the move because the company’s lease at the Mesa location was expiring, a company official said. Construction costs to finish out the new store were estimated at $1.5 million.

Sprouts is El Paso’s only large, natural-foods supermarket. The company operates 167 stores in eight states.
