San Antonio student housing trucks Tetro twist
SAN ANTONIO – Marketing of a student housing property is pursuing a novel approach: a former food truck acting as a mobile marketing center. The marketing method is the brainchild of the development firm Carter, undertaken on behalf of Tetro Student Village, a development underway in the northwest part of the city.
Carter will incorporate a unique marketing method for the community, the Tetro Truck — a former food truck that has been remodeled and equipped to provide virtual tours of Tetro, and to sign up new residents.
Tetro Student Village is a 198-unit, 590-bed property located less than half a mile from the University of Texas at San Antonio campus. Slated to open in time for the fall semester of 2014, efforts to market the property include more conventional advertising as well as social media.
Tetro Student Village will be located at 15502 Babcock Rd., less than a half mile from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
The Tetro Truck will be making the rounds to nearby festivals, parks, sporting events and restaurants to spread the word about the new community.
The Tetro Student Village will feature 121 flats and 77 townhomes that will be built around a “town center.”
