Baylor opens new heart hospital in Denton

DENTON – The Heart Hospital Baylor Denton began treating cardiovascular patients at its newly remodeled at 2801 S. Mayhill Rd.

The 16-bed, 69,000-sf specialty hospital offers comprehensive cardiac and vascular services.

Baylor acquired the Denton facility in May 2013 and began a two-stage renovation project. Completion is scheduled to be completed in May 2014.

The second phase of construction will add six more intensive care unit suites and an additional cardiovascular operating room.
