Highland Villas spans generations in Bryan
BRYAN – The $22 million Highland Villas complex is underway at 2900 Wildflower Dr. Though the majority of the 170 units at the complex are designed for independent seniors, 48 units are available to other renters.
This blended concept puts seniors and families together to serve multiple generations as the baby boomer generation ages.
The gated complex, expected to open to residents in August 2014, includes one-, two- and three-bedroom units. The nearly 200,000-sf complex will include a clubhouse facility with a fitness studio, business center, laundry, kitchen and media room as well as a swimming pool and children’s playground.
In addition to bank financing for the project, Madhouse Development said it received Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs’ tax credits and HOME Investment Partnership funds.
Highland Villas is part of a master-planned community with retail and restaurants.
