AUSTIN – November was another busy month for Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (ABIA), according to data released by airport officials. Total passenger traffic at the airport was up 4 percent over November 2012, rising to 841,145 flying through ABIA.

With 14.9 million pounds of cargo shipped out of the airport in November 2013, air cargo shipped was down 3.5 percent compared to November 2012.

International air cargo, however, saw big percentage gains over last November, rising 28.5 percent in November 2013 with 2.9 million pounds of cargo shipped.

For the first 11 months of 2013, total passenger traffic rose by 6 percent compared to the same time period in 2012, with 9.1 million passengers passing through ABIA.
