WICHITA FALLS - The former Sears building in downtown Wichita Falls has been sold. Plans are to open a drive-in self-storage facility this summer, according to buy Utah-based Amazing Storage.

“We are bringing in a new and unique storage concept to town,” Tyrone Frazier, partner, said. “It will be a climate-controlled drive-in building. It will be full of self-storage spaces of all different sizes.”

He said demolition work is underway in preparation for the renovation project.
