First Baptist Temple opens new $10.9M building

TEMPLE – First Baptist Church of Temple has opened its new 52,600-sf facility, four years after the church’s old downtown location was destroyed by fire.

The complex is worth $10.9 million and was funded by a combination of insurance proceeds from the fire and fundraisers.

Located at 8015 West Adams Ave., the facility includes a worship center, gym, cafe and children’s center.
