PAMPA, GRAY COUNTY - Pampa Independent School District has opened its newly renovated 60,000-sf administration building in the former Albertson’s supermarket on North Hobart St. The renovations cost $3 million.

The building includes:

•  28,000 sf for office space, board meeting space, other conference space, training areas;
•  20,000 sf in the central receiving house for the district; and
•  12,000 sf for future expansion that includes a storm shelter.

A $47 million bond issue paid for the administration building, construction of the Pampa Junior High School on Perryton Pkwy. and improvements at Pampa High School.
