ARLINGTON - Vought Aircraft has moved its engineering operations to a 111,409-sf space in Arlington. Approximately 500 Vought full-time workers and contractors with an average salary of $100,000 will work there. The new space is located at 1501 Nolan Ryan Expressway.

Vought will officially close its Jefferson Blvd. location in Dallas on February 7.

Production personnel in Dallas will be moving to Vought's new Red Oak facility and engineering and support workers will be shifting to Arlington, according to Triumph spokeswoman Lynne Warne.

Vought Aircraft is an aerospace manufacturer with locations in west Dallas, Grand Prairie and Red Oak, located just south of DeSoto. It has been moving manufacturing operations out of its Dallas plant and into its new Red Oak facility, which opened last year.
