Fred Loya Insurance ‘claims’ $15M center in El Paso

EL PASO – Fred Loya Insurance, auto-insurance company and local employer, is expanding its business in the area.

The company plans to begin construction during the beginning of July 2015 on a $15 million, 82,000-sf claims processing and call center in East El Paso.

Located at 11577 Pellicano, the new center will handle auto insurance claims and customers’ calls from 12 states, and that is expected to grow to 30 states in the next few years.

The company, which employs 3,800 people, including 631 people in El Paso, plans to hire an additional 150 people in El Paso when the center opens. The building will eventually house 600 employees.
