SHENANDOAH - Kelsey-Seybold Clinic has started construction on a $30 million, three-story building with room for 38 physicians. The new three-story clinic will double its square footage to 80,000 sf.
The new facility is part of Kelsey-Seybold's $200 million capital investment planned for the Houston area by 2015. The building will double its footprint in the Woodlands to meet increased demand in the fast-growing community and is expected to open in late 2014.
Kelsey's current clinic in the Woodlands, at 17350 St. Luke’s Way, will continue to operate as normal until the new building — at 106 Vision Park Blvd. in Shenandoah — is complete.
Hospitals have been scooping up land in the Woodlands area as competition in the area has been heating up. Texas Children’s Hospital recently broke ground on its 548,000-sf facility expected to open in 2017.
